A breakfast conversation about the time-consuming process of making paneer led the two founders to travel to India, where they mastered the art of crafting packaged paneer.

 From these humble beginnings, Nanak Foods has grown into North America’s largest processor of South Asian dairy-based foods, specializing in paneer, ghee, yogurt, appetizers, and desserts. Nanak Foods’ ghee is crafted using traditional methods in modern, certified facilities. Made from high-quality ingredients, the ghee retains its rich flavor and nutritional benefits while meeting global safety and quality standards. With its high smoke point, lactose-free properties, and versatility in cooking, Nanak Ghee has become a trusted choice for households across North America and beyond.

With facilities in Surrey, Canada, and Bellingham, USA, Nanak Foods serves a global market, delivering products to countries including Canada, the United States, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and the UAE. Looking ahead, the company is set to open a state-of-the-art 280,000 sq. ft. facility in South Surrey, British Columbia, featuring advanced technology, enhanced R&D capabilities, and cutting-edge safety measures.
