Founded in 1997 by Gurpreet Arneja and Vineet Taneja, Nanak Foods began with a simple idea: to make traditional South Asian dairy products more accessible. A breakfast conversation about the time-consuming process of making paneer led the two founders to travel to India, where they mastered the art of crafting packaged paneer.

 

From these humble beginnings, Nanak Foods has grown into North America’s largest processor of South Asian dairy-based foods, specializing in paneer, ghee, yogurt, appetizers, and desserts.
