Green Pasture Products was founded in 2003 by Dave and Barbara Wetzel in O’Neill, Nebraska, inspired by a desire to embrace a sustainable lifestyle and honor traditional nutritional wisdom.

After leaving a high-powered steel industry career, Dave and Barbara transitioned to managing a grass-based dairy farm. Their venture was influenced by Dr. Weston A. Price’s research on high-vitamin butter oil, a nutrient-dense product derived from cows grazing on rapidly growing green grass. 

Green Pasture’s blend of raw butter oil extract, sourced from grass-fed cows grazing on lush green pastures, and organic, virgin coconut oil provides a versatile, high-quality fat.
